Leaving school in 1988 Cole Stevens began training as a draughtsman in central London, after two years he moved on to a law firm and eventually his last full time position was in sales and marketing, which allowed Cole the time to enjoy a part time role as an actor, model, presenter, DJ and entertainer which he continued until 1996. During this time he performed for many corporate events, celebrities and even Royalty and in his late teens, appeared in various commercials, TV shows, on stage in addition to creating his first business concept; The Entertainment Directory.
T.E.D became two very popular publications to the event industry with thousands of suppliers, acts and services listed. The information was split into two books known as Big TED and Little TED which were eventually sold. Cole then continued in the events industry with his entertainment and events agency CS events and acquired other event operations such as; a venue finding agency, casino company, theme decor business which collectively placed more than six million pounds a year for venues, entertainers and performers throughout the world. In 2001 Cole retired from the CS group, having sold his interest and began to trade and promote high street businesses.
During this time Coles projects included a booking agency, bar, restaurant, museum, car hire, private equity, tanning and beauty, casino company, online wine and a chain of off licenses. Having held various positions within private equity firms, worked with venture capitalist and invested his own funds and time into numerous projects, Cole has acquired a great deal of experience across many industries and can now be hired as a business consultant to work with your team to review and set out individual challenges for any business.
Coles tasks have included and were not limited to sales, marketing, demonstration, negotiating loans, purchasing, organising company prospectus, fast tracking companies to PLUS or AIM markets, creating operations manuals, business plans, training programs and nationwide franchise systems. To date Cole has shared, acquired or owned outright companies from many industries with turnovers ranging from 500k to 150 million GBP.
In addition to working as CEO to a media plc and acting CEO to a private equity company Cole has indulged in personal projects in property, media, restaurant business and an event and entertainment industry networking website.
